Your bridge, the way you want it.
Welcome fellow G-Scalers. I'm a G-scale nut just like you. I began my search about four years ago, not finding anything I actually needed and didn't want to settle for the status quo.
I experimented with many materials before I came up with the bridge parts I use today which is .020 ga. aluminum cross brace for the beams, .025 ga aluminum sheet for the gussets and zinc plated steel 4-40 machine screws and nuts.
I wanted realism or at least as close as I could get so I added gussets inside and out, just like the real thing and the edges of the crossbrace give the bridges a nice riveted look also.
You also don't have to settle for "out of the box" dimensions. Virtually all measurements can be modified to fit exactly what you need. If you need a 6 inch wide bridge instead of the 9 inch standard, or a 40 inch bridge instead of the 48 inch standard, just let me know and I'll build it at no extra charge!
Bridges are priced by the foot and I also have a trade in offer for your old G-Scale items to save even more on the cost of your bridge or bridges which has been a massive success. I'm a livid fan of the "win-win"!

WHEN YOUR BRIDGE ARRIVES
Average built time is around 15 minutes from box to finish.
The deck is labeled with alpha labels and the top bracers are usually labeled with numerical labels.
Assemble by mating labels together and attaching with hardware provided with a
Philips screwdriver & pliers or a nut driver
How long before I get my bridge?
The average build time is 1 day per foot barring any unforeseen events.
How heavy are the bridges?
About 1.5 Lb per foot assembled, extremely light but very strong and easily supports the bigger Live Steam G-Scale trains.
What paint can I use to paint the bridge?
I personally prefer flat or satin exterior house paint. It takes a couple coats and dries very fast. Spray on paint does well too but average coverage is only 2 feet per can and can be quite costly. No need to waste mioney on Primer, aluminum doesn't rust and it doesn't help the paint adhesion.
